We won the Seattle Times "Friskiest Fringe" Award for our production. Written in 1890, Wedekind's provocative piece, dealing with adolescent sexuality, innocence and knowledge, was before it's time to such a degree that it took 100 years for it to be performed in his home country.
Shanley's 1991 script examines both the mundane and the miraculous, with a thick, sheen of the political dripping everywhere. Four friends tell or enact their stories separately, then have dinner together. Simple, right?
