A one-act co-produced with Northwest Actor's studio. Nick Zagone's first of many plays and presented in conjunction with Border.
"The Border Cafe, suspended between Texas and New Mexico, between now and then, where three characters walk the fine line between direction and misdirection. "
A one-act co-produced with Northwest Actor's studio, presented in conjunction with The Fiend's Friendly Council.
Our production of Action by Sam Shepard won a "Best of the Fest" Award back in 1993 and really helped us on our way! Set in a vaguely post-apocalyptic future, "Action" contrasts ordinary domestic routine with debilitating self-doubt, to surreal effect. Two couples, on whom the veneer of civilization is wering distinctly thin, get together for a turkey-dinner to be followed by some read-aloud entertainment - if they can remember where they left off in the book they're reading, that is.
Presented at the Northwest's Actor's Studio in November of 1992 with The Stonewater Rapture.
Presented at the Northwest's Actor's Studio along with Savage Love in November of 1992. |
